« Everyone needs groceries, so why not let a percentage of that grocery bill benefit NSA? « With a King Soopers Neighborhood Reward Card, fundraising for NSA is as easy as going to King Soopers to shop. « Every time NSA reaches $5,000 or more in RELOADS and orders within King Soopers' four-week cycles, NSA earns 5% on the total amount. So for every $5,000 in reloads, NSA will earn $250!!!! In order for NSA to earn the 5%, you will continually need to RELOAD the Neighborhood Reward card. « If NSA doesn't reach $5,000 within the four-week cycle, the money will carry over into the next four-week cycle. So keep RELOADING! !! |

How does the Neighborhood Reward Card Program work? NSA purchases gift cards from the Gift Services Department and sells them to parents for face value. Parents then RELOAD (add value to) any amount up to $500 on their Neighborhood Reward Card, in a separate transaction, each time they shop at King Soopers. NSA earns 5% on the amount of those RELOADS . You can RELOAD with credit or debit card, cash, or check.
How much of a profit can my organization make with the King Soopers Neighborhood Reward Card Program? When NSA reaches $5,000 or more with RELOADS and orders in the four-week cycle, NSA will earn a 5% rebate from King Soopers. Parents need to RELOAD their Cards at King Soopers. DO NOT THROW AWAY CARD AFTER VALUE IS DEPLETED. Neighborhood Reward Cards may be RELOADED in any amount up to $500. If NSA has not reached the $5,000 threshold, the amount in NSA's account will roll over into the next four-week cycle.
How convenient is it to RELOAD the King Soopers Neighborhood Reward Card? Cards may be RELOADED at the Customer Service Desk for any amount up to $500 OR at the register you are purchasing your groceries BEFORE you begin ringing up your groceries (this MUST be a separate transaction). When a card is RELOADED at the Customer Service Desk OR a register other than where your groceries are scanned, there is a 5 minute delay before the funds will be available. The Card must be RELOADED in a SEPARATE TRANSACTION PRIOR TO YOUR GROCERIES BEING SCANNED.
What if a parent loses or throws away their Neighborhood Reward Card? A new Card will need to be purchased from NSA via the Scrip AVC at scrip@nstaracademy.org in order to have it linked to NSA. RELOADABLE Neighborhood Reward Cards CANNOT be purchased at the stores. They will not be linked to NSA. A new card must be purchased from NSA!
What can be purchased with King Soopers Neighborhood Reward Cards? Any merchandise in a King Soopers store, with the exception of services, (money orders, Western Union, lottery tickets, stamps, Tickets West, and other gift cards are considered services.) GIFT CARDS MAY BE USED AT KING SOOPERS OR CITY MARKET FUEL CENTERS!
How do I find the balance on my Neighborhood Reward Card? There are four (4) ways to obtain the balance on your Card. The balance will be printed on the bottom of your cash register receipt; visit www.gcbalance.com, call 1-866-822-6252, or your cashier may check your balance.
Will the Card be identified as a fundraising card? Yes!! You will receive a sticker to identify the Card as a fundraising card. This should deter you from throwing the card away! Please put the sticker in the top left hand corner on the front of the card.
Do I get volunteer hours for purchasing a card? Yes!! You will earn 1 volunteer hour for every $100 you RELOAD onto your Card! Family members and friends are also welcome to participate in this program and earn volunteer hours for your family! Volunteer hours earned by RELOADING King Soopers Neighborhood Reward Cards will be logged on a monthly basis by our Scrip AVC. Please do NOT log any hours for King Soopers Neighborhood Reward Cards. |

KING SOOPERS NEIGHBORHOOD REWARD CARDS ARE ACCEPTED AT MOST KROGER AFFILIATED STORES THROUGHOUT THE U.S. THESE INCLUDE KROGER, FRED MEYER, RALPHS, FRY'S AND FRY'S MARKETPLACE, KING SOOPERS, DILLIONS, SMITH'S FOOD & DRUG, CITY MARKET, QFC, FOOD 4 LESS, OWEN'S, FOODSCO., HILANDER, PAY-LESS, CALA-BELL, BAKER'S, JAYC, FRED MEYER JEWELERS, LITTMAN AND BARCLAY JEWELERS. (LOAF AND JUG DOES NOT ACCEPT THESE CARDS.)
CARDS WITH A ZERO BALANCE FOR 90 DAYS WILL BECOME INACTIVE. A NEW CARD WILL NEED TO BE PURCHASED FROM NSA.
IF A CARD CANNOT BE RELOADED, A NEW CARD HAS TO BE PURCHASED FROM NSA. OCCASIONALLY A CARD IS DEMAGNETIZED. THIS IS RARE BUT IT DOES HAPPEN. USE THE BALANCE ON THE CARD AND BUY A NEW ONE. A CARD PURCHASED IN A STORE CANNOT BE LINKED TO NSA.
IN ORDER FOR NSA TO MAKE THE 5%, YOU WILL CONTINUALLY NEED TO RELAOD YOUR CARD.
